Chase Hartman

Vice President of Estimating and Business Development

On July 1st, 2023, Chase Hartman was named Vice President of Estimating and Business Development. He is responsible for the estimating for all divisions of work and reports directly to the President.

Chase holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Construction Systems Management from The Ohio State University, earned in 2003. He began his career with a large investor-owned utility based in Akron, OH in their Construction Management Department where he was able to gain exposure to all manners of utility-scale electrical (transmission, distribution and substation) construction both in the field and ultimately for several years as a Project Manager.

Chase joined J.W. Didado Electric initially in 2013, shortly after the Quanta acquisition, and worked as a Senior Project Manager through 2015. Between 2015 and 2020, he explored other opportunities and was able to gain experience in other parts of the country with other contractors where he handled a wide variety of project scopes and contract types. In 2020, Chase rejoined J.W. Didado (JWD) as a Sr. Project Manager where he excelled at managing large complex projects that required an extremely high level of competency in contract interpretation, financial analysis, and project management. In 2022, Chase was promoted to the Director of Estimating for the High Voltage Division. In that role he refined existing processes as well as developed new ones that have enhanced the way we conduct commercial business operations. His leadership in that role was integral to the growth of the company and the continued advancement of our personnel.

Over his 20-year career, spanning coast to coast, he has managed a portfolio of projects valued over $1 billion dollars. Chase brings that experience and knowledge as contributions to the successful partnerships and projects between JWD and its customers.
